Regain access to emails by negotiation

In some cases, we need to get access to lost email accounts in order to have information removed.

We had a project when we didn’t have access to an email that we needed. So we called GoDaddy.com and told them that we had our login information on a piece of paper and spilled coffee on it when having breakfast. We asked them to help us to find that login information. As we expected, GoDaddy helped. Thus, we regained access to the email, and the case was resolved.

The example above demonstrates how, in some instances, simple social engineering methods help to remove negative information.
