On the one hand, the Internet is an indispensable tool for building and marketing your brand. It doesn’t take a lot of money to compete with even the biggest competitor. It has been reported that over 90% of consumers check a company’s rating online before deciding to use their services. In addition to Google reviews, Yelp reports and Ripoff reports, social media and blog reports are often used to check your reputation.
Not only is your brand at risk, but your personal reputation is on the line as well. A bad report on a CEO of a major brand can have devastating effects on the company itself. And even worse, a false report made by a competitor or a disgruntled employee can have equally damaging effects.
On the other hand, it’s a known fact that there are teams of freelancers who get paid to post false reviews online. Albeit, they usually are tasked with posting positive reviews about the payer’s brand, but there are also unscrupulous individuals who would have no problem with marring their competitor’s reputation to try and make their own product look even more attractive.

Negative Reviews and Damaging Information Must be Dealt With
The biggest complaint site is Ripoff Reports. The site is loaded with false reports and reviews. Most of these are made by disgruntled employees and competitors. The Better Business Bureau has given them an “F” rating and Consumer Affairs rates them at 1.5 stars.
Reports can be anonymously posted there by anybody on the internet and they are not vetted or verified in any way. The European Union banned the site in their member states in 2018 due to their own damaging reputation.
They refuse to remove any inaccurate or false reports even if given irrefutable proof of the reports being fake. However, our team of experts have methods of dealing with any negative report through the use of “Corporate Advocacy Program” (CAP), or simply to remove search results for you.

30.05.2019Folks, I've been working in business for a long time but I can't catch the idea of removal of negative reviews, what's the profit? You can remove them but those, who has already seen them, are sure that they're true and you conceal the truth. What's the point?

30.05.2019Dear collegue, you know, competitors sometimes write nonsense. When you answer this comment, you confirm that such things could happen. Not answering is even worse. In this case you should think for example how to remove a link to bad information from search results

You know that people read only first several sites and if there's only positive information, that'll be enough for them

It's always good to show people that you improve your work and correct mistakes. We're all humans, nobody's ideal. I'm for showing people our correcting the mistakes, not hiding them.

31.05.2019I agree, but's about really objective review with pros and cons. It's possible here to focus on benefits and use the situation to your advantage. But if they only badmouth, I think the only way is to delete negative search results

1.06.2019The sign below the article "the person was acquitted" in small print isn't a good decision. Most readers wouldnt even notice it and take an outdated article at face value. If the site operator isn't able to remove it, apply to somebody who is.

1.06.2019Exactly, and demand deindexation. Because a blank page can remain in search results for some time. As for online-reputation, that's a good issue. I have such specialists in my team but they are very rare.

1.06.2019But I don't have people responsible for online reputation-rather expensive empoyees((( Applying to specialists isn't that cheap either...Though it's sometines useful but we're doing okay by ourselves)

2.06.2019Yes, I guess you're right...Anyway not all of our reviews are positive ones...There is a human factor. I'll try to study this topic.
